The splendor of nature and the heart of the sea my konkan was known for the most delicious traditional food which was loved by every vegetarian and non-vegetarians.
The food culture of konkan belongs from maharashtra coastal, goan and karnataka region. So today I will introduce you with some lips smacking traditional dishes from konkan.
- Vade -Sagoti:
This is a heavenly treat for non-vegetarian from konkan.this dish consist of the traditional konkani style chicken curry serve with fluffy deep fried vade(a mixture of rice,jowar,wheat and lentils with some secret spices).it's a native dish of the konkan.available in the coastal area.
2)Sol kadhi :
Every konkani loves this appetizer drink after having lunch or dinner or Any meal. This sole kadhi is made from pure coconut milk and kokum extract with some added spices . give them a pouch of freshness and testier. Sol kadhi improves digestion and keeps acidity at bay.
3) Fish curry and Seafood:
Konkan was blessed with the most sea area in maharashtra.Seafood and different fish curries are the biggest treat konkan gives to every seafood lover.
